Actress Ruffa Gutierrez defended actress Barbie Imperial against the bashing that she received for organizing a birthday dinner for her boyfriend, actor Richard Gutierrez, and his twin brother, Raymond Gutierrez.
Richard and Barbie have become more open about their relationship. They said that they are not hiding what they have, but they just want it to be private.
There had been several times when Barbie was seen at Gutierrez’s family gatherings. She was also seen spending time with her boyfriend’s siblings.
Previously, Annabelle Rama, the Gutierrez’s matriarch, even slammed people who pit her against Barbie. Some netizens commented that Annabelle would be a nagging mother-figure.
In a recent social media post, Ruffa Gutierrez shared photos from the intimate birthday dinner that Barbie Imperial hosted for Richard and Raymond Gutierrez.
“A surprise, intimate birthday dinner at The Peninsula Manila, lovingly organized by Barbie for Chard & Mond [red heart emoji],” Ruffa wrote in the caption of her post. She also shared her wish for her twin brothers.
“Happy birthday to my handsome twin brothers!! [cake emoji] Wishing you success, love, and good health this year and always. We love you!” the actress said.
In the comment section, many netizens greeted the twin celebrities, while some commended Barbie for her sweet gesture for her boyfriend. However, some comments were rude, based on what Ruffa stated.
She said that she will delete and block those who commented negatively, as they did not know what happened in private. Ruffa also stressed that all parties have moved on.
“For those of you making rude comments, I will block and delete them. You don’t know what happens in private. What’s clear is that all parties have moved on, so should you. Maraming salamat for your kind understanding,” the actress wrote.
Meanwhile, Ruffa Gutierrez has been sharing updates on her social media pages regarding the health status of her father, veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez. Fortunately, the second operation that Eddie had in Singapore was a success.
