There were times when Revillame would scold live on air for mistakes or misunderstandings of co-hosts or staff, when a contestant became disrespectful, and sometimes, he would use his platform to respond to negative comments or controversies surrounding him.

According to him, he is just really strict when it comes to work, especially in the programs he is spearheading. Willie also admitted that he is often questioned whenever he fails to restrain himself from scolding staff members who make mistakes during the live airing of his game show.
He explained, “Gut feel kasi ako sa buhay. Kapag nagagalit ako sa show, [kunwari] nagkakamali yung DJ, kasi ayokong naiirita yung mga nanonood sa akin, e. Kasi alam mo, you have to understand, binabasa ko [ang comments], ‘Mayabang yan, sinesermonan ang staff.’ ou have to do that, kasi nire-rehearse namin ito before the show. Inaalam na namin ang dapat mangyari. Bakit ka pa magkakamali?”
One of the biggest reasons behind this is the tragedy that happened on February 6, 2006. A stampede occurred during his show’s anniversary, and killed several people. Since then, Willie has made sure that everything is in order during each airing of his program to avoid any further mishaps.
With this incident and all the others that happened at different times in his program, he remains standing firm on his expectations at work.
