Robi Domingo speaks about what allegedly happened in Zanjoe-Ria wedding
Kapamilya host Robi Domingo broke his silence on the alleged conflict that he had with A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz.
To recall, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared on his YouTube show Showbiz Update about what allegedly happened at the wedding of celebrity couple Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde.
Robi was the event’s host. He asked Ria how was she as Mrs. Marudo, and how was Zanjoe as Mr. Atayde.It was alleged that Robi’s joke did not sit well with John Lloyd.
According to Ogie, the Kapamilya host called Zanjoe as Mr. Atayde, and this did not sit well with the A-list actor.
The story stated that Robi and John Lloyd at one point were at the venue’s bar and the actor confronted the host. It was said that John Lloyd told Robi that his joke was inappropriate. It was also said that when John Lloyd approached Robi, the TV host answered, “May isyu ba tayo?”
However, according to the source, it did not reach to physical conflict. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Robi Domingo was asked about the issue.
“My stand is as long as Ria and Zanjoe are okay, then I’m okay. Yun ang pinakamahalaga. The Atayde family is okay, the Marudo family is okay, for me there’s nothing to worry about,” the TV host said.
Previously, Ria was asked about the supposed conflict that John Lloyd and Robi had during their wedding. The actress simply said that it was not something that caught the attention of the wedding guests.
Meanwhile, Robi Domingo recently shared a video announcing that his wife, Maiqui Pineda is pregnant. They first found out that they are going to be parents in September last year. The couple is thankful for this blessings since Maiqui is faced with a challenge when it comes to her health because of her autoimmune disease.
