BONGBONG MARCOS – The President expressed his pride on the good reputation of the Filipinos in the international community.
Marcos Jr. has repeatedly claimed that the leaders of other countries want more Filipinos in their place. Recently, he made the same claim during a speech at the United Arab Emirates. The President flew to UAE for defense and trade deals.

During his speech, Pres. Bongbong Marcos highlighted the global Filipino pride. Based on a post of News5 on social media, the President shared that in his conversations with the leaders of other countries, he is often told by the presidents, prime ministers, and kings of other nations that they really like the Filipino people.
Marcos Jr. further expressed that the other national leaders like the Filipinos for being hardworking and kind. According to him, the leaders of other countries also like how helpful Filipinos are even after duty hours.

“Alam niyo po, laging kung nakakausap ang mga lider po, mga presidente, mga hari, mga prime minister at hindi pa ako nakakapag-hello, sasabihin nila kaagad sa akin… ‘Ang mga Pilipino sila ang pinakagusto namin na pumupunta rito sa aming bansa. Sila ang pinakagusto namin dahil sila ay napakasipag, napakabait, at tumutulong kahit wala sa trabaho,'” the President said.

Furthermore, based on the post, Pres. Bongbong Marcos claimed that his response to those national leaders who are impressed of Filipinos is that the Filipino people are really like that.
“Hari at reyna ng overtime ang Pilipino. ‘Yan ang reputasyon natin dahil napaka-sipag,” Marcos Jr. said.
Also, during his speech in UAE, Pres. Bongbong Marcos told the Filipinos that they are very much loved by their foreign employers. According to him, the foreigners allegedly said that if not because of the Filipinos who helped them, their country will not be as rich as it is now.
However, previously, amid the claims of Marcos Jr. on the alleged growing economy of the Philippines and the good reputation of the Filipinos in the international arena, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that a lot of Filipinos are allegedly “frustrated” over what is happening in the country.
