Kim Chiu shared this Christmas post
Kapamilya actress-host Kim Chiu said in a social media post that her Christmas is a little different now.
Kim is one of the most successful Kapamilya stars of her generation. In interviews, her colleagues would attest to how hard-working she is. Aside from acting, Kim also has hosting stints, as well as endorsement projects.
The celebrity also ventured into businesses. She is known for being very loving and supportive of her family. However, their family went through a tough time this year, especially her relationship with her older sister, Lakam Chiu.

Kim Chiu had to file a qualified theft complaint against her own sister. The actress-singer did not elaborate on details, but rumors surfaced that Lakam Chiu spent hundreds of millions of pesos of Kim’s money because, allegedly, she was hooked on gambling.
Kim is known for being very close to her older sister, whom she treated like her second mom. Their closeness was known to the public, as they were vocal about this, and they had shared their stories in interviews.
With this unfortunate occurrence in their family, Kim’s holiday season became a little different. The actress-host shared her Christmas post with photos of their family, and it was noticeable that Lakam was not there.
“They say Christmas is about family. This year, mine looked a little different,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
She also said that she was surrounded by people who chose to love, hold, and stand by her side this year. Behind the connection through blood, the actress gave more value to the “bond” she has with other people.

“All my life, I’ve been blessed to find family in people who chose to love me, hold me, and stand by me—especially this year. Blood is different, yes, but bond is everything,” Kim Chiu said.
After that meaningful statement, she talked about the photos she shared in her Instagram post.
“These photos are just a part of the many souls who lifted me up. Not everyone fit in the frame, but every single one of you lives in my heart,” the actress said. She also thanked the gift of presence from the people around her, including the laughter, patience, understanding, and love she received.
