Ellen Adarna Breaks Silence on Love Life, Reveals Why She’s Choosing to Stay Single
ELLEN ADARNA – Actress and celebrity mom Ellen Adarna once again sparked conversation online after candidly addressing questions about her love life and revealing why she has no plans of rushing into a new relationship.
Ellen Adarna recently opened up about a deeply personal decision during a midnight Instagram Stories question-and-answer session on December 24. Known for her candidness, Ellen once again addressed her followers’ curiosities, this time shedding light on her current stance on relationships and why she is deliberately stepping away from romance.
Among the questions she received was a prediction from a netizen who cited a fortune teller, saying: “Based sa isang manghuhula, politician daw next partner mo probably next year. Any comments?” Instead of entertaining speculation about a future partner, Ellen used the moment to clarify where she stands emotionally after the major changes in her life.

Ellen Adarna revealed that she has made a conscious commitment to celibacy, framing it as part of a broader journey toward healing and self-regulation. “I committed to five years of celibacy, renewable every five years. If it works, I continue. If it doesn’t, the purpose and goal was still fulfilled. (And yes longer than my marriage 🤣🤣) will focus on my babies❤️” she shared.
She further explained that she is in no rush to re-enter the dating scene, emphasizing patience and reflection. “Wait untiļ the dust settles,” Ellen said, signaling her intention to allow time for clarity and emotional balance before making any decisions about love.
According to the actress, her choice is not driven by fear but by the need to prioritize her well-being. “This isn’t about fear, it’s about healing my nervous system.” She added that past experiences have taught her the importance of slowing down and being more mindful in matters of the heart.
“I’m choosing regulation over rushing (because duh, whirlwind romance pa more! Trauma izz real) 🤣🫠 as per Alanis [Morissette ] – you live you learn. T*nga ko nalang kung di 🤣” Ellen said, underscoring her message with humor and honesty. She also used Alanis Morissette’s 1995 song “You Learn” as background music, reinforcing the idea of growth through experience.

In a follow-up story, when asked about her biggest lesson in love, Ellen offered a direct reminder: “Learn from me: Do not rush.”
These reflections come about a month after Ellen publicly confirmed her separation from husband Derek Ramsay, following alleged infidelity that she said she discovered only weeks before, marking a new chapter of self-focus and healing for the actress.
