December 19 will always be a special day for actress Iza Calzado and her husband, businessman Ben Wintle, as this was the day they sealed the deal. It has been seven years since Iza and Ben’s wedding was held at a beach.
To recall, they’ve had a scenic beach wedding on the sandy shore of Club Paradise Palawan. On Instagram, she shared some photos taken from their wedding day, and in the caption, she wrote a loving message to mark their 7th wedding anniversary.
“7 years married, 14 years together. Tested, humbled, and deeply grateful for this beautiful adventure. Praise be to God!” she wrote.
On Instagram, Wintle also marked their special day with a sweet message for his wife. For him, their wedding day remains one of the most beautiful days of his life.
He added, “How ironic that the vows we exchanged that day contained meanings we would only truly learn and appreciate through our challenges to come. Thank you for guiding me with your compass of truth and enormous heart. I couldn’t be more grateful for you.”
Ben and Iza met in 2011 at the launch of Esquire magazine in Manila. She was hosting the event. After years of being together, he proposed to her during a Sunday lunch with family, and his proposal became a beautiful emotional surprise with friends and family.
For her wedding, she wore a beautiful Rajo Laurel gown, made with lace that was sourced from Paris.
After years of a beautiful marriage, they were blessed with a daughter named Deia Amihan Calzado Wintle.
