Lady Netizen Seeks Help to Find Missing Father Who Traveled to Negros to Visit Sick Child
A lady netizen appealed for help to locate her father who suddenly disappeared while traveling to Negros to visit his sick child.
Recently, Diana Villaluz, a Facebook user, sought help from the public to find her father who suddenly went missing while on his way to Negros to visit a sick family member. The post quickly went viral and received reactions online.
According to Villaluz, her father left Batangas on the evening of December 13 aboard a ferry bound for Caticlan. He was planning to continue his journey to Negros to visit a sick family member who was confined at a hospital in South Bacolod.

Before the ferry departed, he was still in contact with his family and even sent photos, saying he would rest during the trip.
The family expected him to arrive in Caticlan early the next morning. However, they received no calls or messages from him. His phone was unreachable, and his social media accounts were inactive.
At first, they thought his phone battery may have died, but as the hours passed, their worry grew. By the evening of December 14, he still had not arrived in Bacolod, where he was supposed to be by that time if the trip continued smoothly.

Late that night, someone finally answered his phone and introduced himself as a staff member from SFI Caticlan. The staff confirmed that Diana’s father had indeed been onboard the ferry.
The family was alarmed after learning that his backpack, sling bag, shoes, identification cards, money, and mobile phone were turned over by another passenger. His belongings were found without him, which deeply worried his loved ones.

The family shared that he would never travel without his bag, making the situation even more confusing and frightening.
The family immediately contacted relatives in Manila and Iloilo to check if he returned or made an unexpected stop, but no one had seen him. More than 24 hours had passed, and the family was growing more desperate to find him.
