Pokwang condemns what her brother did in a road rage incident
Kapuso comedienne Pokwang released a statement on her brother Carlo Subong’s viral road rage incident.
In an Instagram post on December 16, 2025, Pokie addressed the issue involving her brother. She confirmed that it was her brother and sarcastically said, “Ang galing” because he went viral.
Pokie said that a person’s mistake should not be blamed on others. The comedienne stressed that even though they are siblings, their beliefs and actions are not the same.

Pokwang apologized to the people that his brother had a conflict with, especially to his daughter. “Pasensya ka na iha, dadalawin kita,” she promised.
The comedienne pointed out that she was not elated by what happened and that she should not take her brother’s side. She reiterated her apology to the father and the daughter.
Then, Pokie had a reminder to the public, especially to those who repeatedly posted her family’s photo. She stressed that there is cyberbullying and cyberlibel, and some netizens, including some politicians who are not even from Antipolo, have shared posts about this issue.

“Isa lang po ang may kasalanan,” she pointed out, as it did not sit well with her that other members of their family were dragged into this.
Pokie also said thank you to their Mayor Junjun Ynares for helping them address the issue, and apologized for what happened. In the caption of her post, “OPO KAPATID KO PO ANG LALAKI SA VIDEO AT HINDI KO PO KINATUTUWA ANG KANYANG GINAWA, PERO MAS HINDI AKO NATUWA SA POLITIKONG NAKISAKAY PA SA PROBLEMANG ITO IMBES NA TUTUKAN ANG TUNAY NA PROBLEMA NG BAYAN SA NGAYON. SALAMAT PO!”
In a social media post of Bico Congressman Terry Ridon, it was said that Carlo Subong’s license was revoked after the incident. It was also said that a criminal case will be filed against him for grave threats, and that his car was impounded.
