Missing Bride-To-Be: Woman Disappears 4 Days Before Wedding

Is this a case of a missing bride-to-be or a runaway bride?

MISSING BRIDE-TO-BE — IT Engineer Mark Arjay Reyes was supposed to marry his fiancée, Sherra De Juan, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, but no wedding took place because the latter is nowhere to be found.

Mark and Sherra’s scheduled union did not push through. There had been some engagements and wedding plans that did not materialize. In Mark’s case, what is more painful is that the fact his fiancée just disappeared and they have no clue of her whereabouts.

Mark shared in a TV Patrol report that he and Sherra had been engaged since 2023. They were set to celebrate their 10th anniversary in January, and this was the reason why they were so excited about their wedding.

The IT engineer also shared that he and his fiancée had a lot of plans after their wedding, and this included having their own family. They had been living together for five years.

On December 10, Mark shared that Sherra messaged him that she will buy her shoes in a mall in North Fairview, Quezon City, after her wedding gown arrives. Sherra said that she would not bring her phone because it was charging at that time. However, until the night came, Sherra did not come home.

That day, at around 1:25 PM, Sherra was captured in a CCTV footage walking in a small alley near their house. At around 1:29 PM, she was seen crossing the street, and at 1:37 PM, she was spotted at a gasoline station. However, Sherra was no longer spotted in CCTV footage in the mall where she was supposed to buy her shoes.

An emotional Mark asked his fiancée to go home because he is not only the one waiting for her, but also her family and friends. He also said that he and Sherra had no conflict and that he knew nothing about his fiancée having a conflict with other people. Sherra’s brother, Darie de Juan, hoped that she was okay and that they would find her soon.

Mark and the family of the missing bride-to-be asked for help from the Quezon City Police Station 5. They submitted Sherra’s cellphone to the authorities for technical analysis.
