Is “Batang Quiapo” of Coco Martin ending soon or starting a new season on a new network?
“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” helmed and led by Coco Martin, is currently facing rumors amid the looming contract termination between ABS-CBN and TV5.
Lopez-led ABS-CBN Corporation has previously confirmed receiving notice from Manny Pangilinan’s TV5 Network. It stated the possible termination of its content supply agreement due to money matters.

In a statement from TV5 about ABS-CBN, the latter allegedly did “willful, fraudulent, and repeated refusal” to give TV5 its revenue share under their content supply agreement. The several demands and concessions made were not made.
TV5 formally demanded the payment of ₱946.16 million as of October 30, 2025, but ABS-CBN’s supposed “payment-plan discussions” were merely a tactic to stall the settlement. ABS-CBN released a statement after the revelation erupted online and vowed to settle the amount.

Amid the buzz about the looming termination, there were rumors that, because of this, Coco Martin’s “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” will end soon. Based on the rumors, it will end on January 2, 2026. This is the same date TV5 stated in their statement about the effectiveness of the agreement termination.
Meanwhile, on Reddit, there were rumors that the FPJBQ will end to start a new season in GMA. Based on the grapevine, it will replace a Kapuso series, and it added that “Batang Riles” and “Hari ng Tondo” will have an epic crossover.

Meanwhile, in another report, the rumors that the series might end on January 2026 is not true, as those with connections in the series are reportedly not bothered to lose one platform.
Based on a report, “Wala kaming nakikitang ending pa sa kwento ng Batang Quiapo dahil marami pang mangyayari at ‘yung ibang kuwento ay halos kakasimula pa lang. Maraming layers, ‘di ba? So, wala pa talaga.”
