Fans React as Zaijan Jaranilla Shares Why His Scene w/ Jane Oineza Was So Intense
ZAIJAN JARANILLA – Kapamilya star Zaijan Jaranilla’s transition into mature roles reached a new level when he encountered a scene with Jane Oineza that he found unexpectedly difficult.
Zaijan Jaranilla recently spoke about one of the most demanding moments in his shift from being a former child actor to taking on more mature roles. During an episode of PUSH Bets, he shared that filming a kissing scene with Jane Oineza for their film Si Sol at Si Luna was a challenge that pushed him outside his comfort zone.
According to Zaijan, he had always expected that tackling more adult roles would eventually happen in his career, but stepping into that reality proved to be far more intense than he imagined. Looking back, he admitted that the scene with Jane was the most difficult task he had to face in the entire project.
“Siguro ‘yong first kissing scene ko,” natatawang lahad ni Zaijan. “Which is ‘yong ‘Sol at si Luna’ nga po with Ate Jane. ‘Yon ‘yong pinakamahirap.”
He added that while he tried to prepare himself mentally for this shift, the actual moment of shooting the scene was something he could never fully anticipate.
“Alam ko rin naman na darating ako sa gano’ng punta. Pero iba ‘pag nando’n ka na. Iba ‘yong pakiramdam. Lalo na pag i-execute n’yo na ‘yong eksena.”
To get through it, Zaijan compared the experience to taking a fearless plunge.
“Ang ginawa ko na lang no’n ‘yong tipong parang tumalon ka sa eroplano na walang atrasan. ‘Sige, game na ‘to.'”
Despite the struggle, Zaijan shared that completing the scene left him with a sense of achievement, knowing he pushed himself to grow as an actor.
“Worth it siya. May pupuntahan din pala,” said Zaijan.
The much-talked-about kissing moment had already gained attention earlier when a well-known supermarket brand released the trailer for Si Sol at Si Luna. The short but emotional clip quickly sparked discussions among fans eager to see the full story unfold.
The film follows Zaijan’s character, a young man longing for love, while Jane Oineza’s role portrays someone running from the pain of her past. Their encounter leads them to a discovery neither expected—something both characters realize they needed in their lives.
