In an interview, Panganiban was asked about the issue of her close friend. She was cautious and careful in answering, and she also found it hard to express an opinion as the topic is a bit sensitive. Moreover, it is between family members.
She couldn’t say for sure that Kim is strong and brave in the midst of the issue, but she asked people to be considerate of what Kim is going through. She is in a very difficult and painful situation right now.
When the reports erupted, she did not immediately call her to ask questions. She let her do her thing while the emotions were. According to her, their friendship has never been the “super call” type, and also, she also doesn’t want her to get the wrong idea from her inquiries during a crucial time.
“Ayaw kong maramdaman niya na nakiki-chismis ako or, alam mo yun, habang mataas ang emotion ng lahat, baka mamaya iba yung ma-interpret niya. So, alam naman niya kung ano na nandito lang ako, di ba? So, anytime na kailangan niya ng kausap, ganun naman kami, e. Yung samahan namin,” she shared.
