2 Men Arrested After Refusing to Stop Fighting Over Drug Deal Dispute in Quezon City
Two men were arrested in Quezon City after refusing to stop their street fight, which reportedly started because of a drug deal dispute.
On Wednesday (December 3, 2025), the CCTV footage captured a man on a bicycle and another man riding as a passenger on a motorcycle arguing along Quirino Highway.
The argument quickly escalated, and although the rest of the scuffle was not caught on camera, the two eventually ended up wrestling on the road. Traffic enforcers tried to calm them down, but both men continued fighting, leading to their arrest.

Police later learned that the fight began after the two disagreed during a drug transaction. Investigators said the man on the bicycle was the suspected drug seller, while the motorcycle passenger was his customer.
The transaction happened in a nearby barangay, where the buyer paid what was supposed to be the agreed amount. But once the seller checked the payment, he discovered that the bundle he received contained only sheets of newspaper instead of real money.
Authorities confiscated 25 grams of suspected shabu worth around P170,000. They also recovered the newspaper pieces that were meant to be P15,000 in payment.
Police added that both men are considered street-level drug personalities and have previous records. They have been known to operate around Barangay Balong Bato and nearby areas.
The 24-year-old suspect claimed he had no idea he was carrying shabu and said he only agreed to hand it over because he was promised P500. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old suspect insisted he also did not know that the payment he passed on was fake.
Both men now face charges of alarm and scandal, disobedience, and resisting arrest. The 24-year-old suspect will also face an additional complaint for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
