Sue Ramirez shared that Dominic Roque did this for her
Actress Sue Ramirez shared that her boyfriend, Dominic Roque, was very supportive of her stint as the Ginebra 2026 Calendar Girl.
Just recently, the liquor company launched Sue as the calendar girl for next year. An event was held for this, and the actress expressed that she had been praying for this, and she was happy that it finally happened.
Sue also said that she was honored for this opportunity to represent the company after six years of being an endorser of GSM Blue.
In an interview, the actress was asked about her preparation for this stint, based on the article in Pang-Masa. Sue Ramirez shared that she did not prepare that much because she still wanted to look like herself.
With this, she just controlled her diet, and this stint became her wake-up call to live a healthier lifestyle. “Kasi I came from sprain earlier this year. So, parang ito na ‘yung naging back on track na ako with my health. And I’m so grateful to Ginebra na ito ‘yung naging push talaga nila sa akin,” she shared.
Then, the actress shared how supportive Dominic Roque was with this stint. She said that going to the event, she was feeling under the weather, and her boyfriend gave her vitamins and bought turmeric for her.
“Syempre, kakanta nga ako. Sabi niya, don’t ‘drink cold water.’ So, ang dami niyang ganyang mga paalala,” she said, adding that Dominic does not intervene with the projects she doe,s even if it requires her to be revealing.
“Well, hindi siya ganun like totally, I’m for it (nangingialam). But, it’s something that I really wanted. Hindi siya nangingialam sa mga bagay na gusto ko. At talagang supportive siya sa akin,” she shared.
However, Sue Ramirez said that Dominic Roque has not seen her calendar girl photos.
When asked how she feels about being part of the pop culture now, Sue said that it was an honor for her to be included in the list of amazing women who were once calendar girls.
