Kim Chiu And Gerald Anderson were previously reunited, and to those who had a “relapse,” here’s the actress’ response.
Many years ago, before KathNiel became a thing and all the other love teams that followed, there was KimErald, the collective name of the love team of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. Just like the other love teams, the two also fell in love with each other in real life, but as it appeared, it did not work out between them.
They went their separate ways years after being together, a split that also marked the end of their love team. However, despite what happened, there were still a lot of fans who had the fever of their chemistry.
But the truth remains, Kimerald is one of the most iconic love teams of the late 2000s.
Recently, their little interaction at the Star Magical Christmas 2025 event caught huge attention online and went viral. The reunion sparked another call for them to reunite for a project. Despite the call not being the first time, Kim, for the first time, responded, and it was a response not many expected from her.
“Nakakaloka yung feed ko ah. Kung makapagrelapse akala mo talaga eh di tayo niloko 15 years ago!!! hahahahaha char not char!!!!” she wrote. Many people reacted, and some of her fans couldn’t overlook the bitterness in her words, even if she shared them in a lighthearted manner.
“As you’ve said “that was 15 years ago” why bothered kapa din? You wouldn’t tweet if you aren’t bothered eh,” one fan commented, while the other expressed admiration for her honesty, “Ang fierce mo ngaun Kimmy! Nahawaan ka na ng pagka prangka. Hahaha. I love it!”
Meanwhile, at the event, both Kim and Gerald received a 20-year loyalty award from ABS-CBN and Star Magic.
