Mark Anthony Fernandez is the newest victim of a death hoax
Actor Mark Anthony Fernandez reacted to a death hoax about him that has circulated on social media platforms.
Celebrities have always been the subjects of death hoaxes online. Among the celebrities who became victims of this were celebrity mom Kris Aquino, veteran actor Dante Rivero, TV host Luis Manzano, singer-host Billy Crawford, Kapuso host Kim Atienza, Kapuso actress Carla Abellana, Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto, and social media personality Madam Inutz.
Some social media sites would create this kind of fake news to garner views and for the monetary value they could derive from it, and some netizens are gullible enough to believe this.

Just recently, based on the article by entertainment writer Jun Lalin in Abante, they asked Mark Anthony Fernandez about the death hoax. “Buhay pa ako!” the actor said, stressing that this was just fake news.
Last Friday, Mark Anthony was at the Viva office, and he was having a meeting with Boss Vic del Rosario. Lalin shared with the actor that showbiz veteran Annabelle Rama was so worried when she saw the death hoax post.
“Sey naman namin, ‘Naku, akala ni Tita Annabelle (Rama), namatay ka. Nasa internet kasi, may content creator na may pa-clickbait na natsugi ka,'” the entertainment writer shared.

When they called Annabelle at that time to reassure her that Mark Anthony is indeed alive, the actor thanked the showbiz veteran for worrying about him. “Tita Annabelle, si Mark Anthony po ito. Mark Anthony Fernandez at buhay pa ako! Tita, salamat po. Nag-worry raw po kasi kayo. Pero okey naman po ako. Huwag po kayong mag-alala at buhay po ako!” the actor said.
Meanwhile, Mark Anthony Fernandez has a reunion project with his ex-girlfriend, Optimum Star Claudine Barretto. Last month, the teaser for Abangan was released.
