Mexico’s Fatima Bosch has been crowned as the Miss Universe 2025, and here are some details about the beauty queen.
From ‘dumbhead’ to Miss Universe 2025 crown, Fatima Bosch’s win was surrounded and clouded with controversy. The drama continues even after a news queen has been crowned already.
Bosch was crowned at the Impact Challenger Hall in Thailand, and here are some things to know about her:
- The 25-year-old beauty queen is from Teapa, Tabasco, Mexico. She was initially offered to join 2019’s Miss Universe Mexico, but declined, as her prioriy that time was her studies.
- She took up fashion designing. She studied Clothing and Fashion Design at the Universidad Iberoamericana. She also attended Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan and the Lyndon Institute in Vermont, United States.
- She was bullied when she was young. She was also diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, but like a true queen, she overcame the hurdles, and turned her struggles into strength. These personal challenges deeply influenced her advocacy work later on.
- Her advocacy centers on empathy, environmental protection, and community impact. She uses her platform for humanitarian and environmental work, iinitiatives that aid migrant communities, and protection of natural ecosystems. She seeks to inspire hope, protect life in all its forms, and ground her efforts for meaningful change in genuine empathy.
Her full name is Fátima Bosch Fernández born on May 19, 2000. From where she’s from is known for its a lush, tropical municipality in southern Mexico, rivers, rainforests, and rich cultural roots.
Her career in pageantry started in 2018 when she won the Flor de Oro Tabasco 2018, representing Teapa. On September 13, 2025, she was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 in Zapopan, Jalisco, as the first-ever Tabasqueña to win the title.
