Ahtisa Manalo Says Miss Universe 2025 Will Be Her Last Pageant

Miss Universe 2025 is going to be the last pageant of Ahtisa Manalo, and she is going to give her all.

Ahtisa Manalo is representing the Philippines at Miss Universe 2025, and she is going to give her all in her last pageant.

During the Miss Universe 2025 National Costume competition, Ahtisa Manalo was stunning in “Festejada: Queen of Philippine Festivals” national gown designed by Mak Tumang. It was a creation that represented the colorful and vibrant culture of the Philippines.

Ahtisa’s national costume was inspired by the Pampanga’s Giant Lantern Festival, Lucban’s Pahiyas Festival, and Baguio’s Panagbenga Festival.

After the national costume, she walked the runway perfectly with her bejeweled evening gown. It was “a gown born from the depths of the sea” and a nod to the crown of Miss Universe.

In an interview with CNN, she declared that this pageant is going to be her last pageant. Her beauty queen journey has been running for 18 years now, and she is making the Miss Universe pageant her last one.

“This is my last pageant, so I’m seeing it as an opportunity to close that chapter of my life. There’s always a pressure of carrying the Philippine sash with you because of the women who came before you,” she said.

One of her reasons for joining was to fulfill a dream of her late grandmother.

Highlighting her repeated attempts to win the Miss Universe Philippines crown, the pageant veteran shared that she hoped to join the global competition to “serve as a symbol of hope” for anyone striving to pursue their dreams without giving up.

She hopes to secure the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown, with the coronation set to take place at the Impact Challenger Hall in Nonthaburi, Thailand, on November 21.
