What was supposed to be a happy family trip in Las Vegas turned unfortunate. Actress Kaye Abad shared that they fell victim to robbers. Her bag, which contained important documents, such as their passports, was taken away by thieves.
She was with her husband, Paul Jake Castillo, and their two sons, and in a Facebook post, she shared the unfortunate incident, including a photo of herself at the police station.
“We went to Vegas para magbakasyon and isuroy ang kids. Never did I think that one of the places I’d end up visiting was the police station,” she said in the caption. She said she left her bag in their car while they were having lunch, and an hour later, when they returned, they discovered that their belongings had been stolen.
It held her IDs and passports, and losing them became a tough but valuable lesson. Despite the unfortunate incident, she stayed positive, knowing that they were safe. She believed everything happens for a reason and that all the items they lost can easily be replaced. What mattered most was their safety.
Despite the regrettable experience, the actress Abad regarded it as a “lesson learned.”
She wrote, “Anyways, lesson learned. I still believe that everything happens for a reason. Kung ano man ang reason NYA….. Iniisip ko nalang everything can be replaced. Importante my family is safe. God is good.”
Abad married Paul Jake in 2016 and is now based in Cebu. After settling down, she never hesitated to be in Cebu and step out of the limelight. IT was her dream to have her family, and when her time came for this, she fully embraced it.
