Herlene Budol Stands Up for Bea Borres Amid Pregnancy Heartbreak

Kapuso star Herlene Budol once again displayed her fierce and caring nature—this time toward content creator Bea Borres, who is currently preparing to welcome her first child. Although the two aren’t particularly close, Herlene made it clear that she views Bea as a younger sister she’s willing to stand up for.
In Alex Gonzaga’s newest vlog, the host spent time with both Herlene and Bea as they explored a well-known spot in Marikina famous for its puto bumbong and bibingka. As they shared food and stories, the conversation shifted to the emotional breakup Bea went through with the father of her baby.
Alex then asked Bea about the standards she would set if someone new wanted to become part of her and her future child’s life. Without hesitation, Herlene praised Bea’s good traits and striking features, telling her, “Alam mo, hindi mo kawalan kasi napakaganda ng lahi mo tapos sinayang niya ‘yung ganda mo at saka ‘yung bait na meron ka.”
Herlene continued by expressing that even if their friendship isn’t especially deep, she wouldn’t think twice about standing up for her. She added, “Alam mo kahit hindi tayo close masyado, kaya kong bugbugin kung sino manloloko sa ‘yo. Parang ganon ‘yung feeling. Parang hindi mo deserve,” which brought both humor and comfort to Bea.
In a lighter moment, Herlene jokingly asked to be among Baby Pea’s godparents, but Bea explained that her list was already complete. Herlene responded with her trademark wit: “Ako yung ninang na walang ambag. Ibahin mo naman. Kasi sila pabonggahan ng regalo. Ako, walang dadalhing regalo.”
As their conversation continued, Herlene’s genuine care became evident. She shared that since Bea openly posts on social media, she’s aware of some parts of the story. Bea acknowledged having her own mistakes in the situation, but Herlene firmly replied, “Hindi kahit anong fault mo, binuntis ka niya. Fault niya ‘yun.”
