Kiray Celis Confirms She & Stephan Will Marry Without a Prenup
KIRAY CELIS – As her December 2025 church wedding approaches, Kiray Celis reveals a bold decision that many did not see coming: no prenup.
Kiray Celis and fiancé Stephan Estopia are preparing for one of the biggest milestones of their lives as they get ready for their upcoming church wedding in December 2025. One of the most notable revelations from the actress-comedienne is that she and Stephan will be tying the knot without a pre-nuptial agreement, a decision rooted in mutual trust and shared values.
The couple has chosen to keep their wedding private and intimate, opting for a simple celebration that reflects their personalities. While they have not yet disclosed the exact date or the church where the ceremony will be held, Kiray emphasized that they want the event to remain personal and away from unnecessary public scrutiny.
However, despite their intention to keep things simple, their wedding expenses have significantly increased. Kiray admitted that their budget “lumobo” from the original P500,000, and the couple has agreed to split the costs. Fortunately, much of the financial burden has been eased, as their godparents—composed of well-known personalities and politicians—have generously shouldered a large portion of the expenses.
In a recent interview with BANDERA during the launch of a new product under her beauty business, Kiray’s Brands, the actress opened up about both the challenges and exciting moments of their wedding preparations. Naturally, given her growing success as CEO of her own company, Kiray was asked whether she and Stephan would have a financial agreement before marriage. Her answer was direct and firm: “Wala!”
Kiray explained that despite her current earnings from her business ventures, Stephan has his own stable source of income. Still, she chose not to delve into the specifics. “Kasi, lagi ko ngang sinasabi, hindi ko nga kailangang ipagmalaki kung ano yung business ng dyowa ko. Kasi, sobrang private niya,” she said.
Kiray Celis added that she once considered revealing more about Stephan’s ventures, sharing: “Alam niyo, parang gusto ko na… sabi ko nga sa kanya, ‘Alam mo, parang gusto ko nang patulan minsan na may paupahan ka, may ganito ka, may ganu’n ka.’ ‘Hayaan mo na.’” According to her, Stephan prefers to stay out of the spotlight as “Very private lang siya. Ayaw niya talagang lumabas.”
Their choice to forgo a prenup is a testament to their strong trust in each other and their confidence in the future they are building together as husband and wife.
