LTO Impounds Unregistered Lamborghini in Muntinlupa–Cavite Expressway
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) impounds a Lamborghini Huracan at Muntinlupa–Cavite Expressway for having no license plate.
On Wednesday (November 19, 2025), the Facebook page Land Transportation Office-Philippines announced that an unregistered luxury Lamborghini Huracan was impounded. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to the LTO, officers flagged down the vehicle for having no plate number attached at the front. When they checked the car’s documents, they discovered that the vehicle was not registered.

Because of this, a Temporary Operator’s Permit was issued to the driver, and the sports car was brought to the LTO Central Office for further action.
Further investigation showed that there was a misdeclaration in the documents used for processing the vehicle. This led the Bureau of Customs to issue a Warrant of Seizure and Detention, signaling possible issues with how the car entered the country or how it was declared in official records.

The Lamborghini is now secured in government custody while authorities continue their inquiry.
The LTO emphasized that this incident is part of their ongoing effort to enforce laws against illegal vehicle registration, smuggling, and the use of fake importation documents. Officials stressed that even luxury vehicles are not exempt from the rules, and all motorists must follow legal procedures when registering their vehicles.

The agency assured the public that they remain firm in pushing for a transparent and orderly system for vehicle registration. It also showed their close coordination with the Bureau of Customs to ensure proper investigation and accountability.
By strengthening monitoring and enforcement, the LTO hopes to send a strong message that no individual or company can bypass transport regulations, no matter the value of the vehicle involved.
