The ex-boyfriend of Gina Lima died
Ivan Cezar Ronquillo, the ex-boyfriend of the late Vivamax actress Gina Lima, was found dead inside his house.
Gina is one of the rising stars on Viva’s online platform, which features sultry movies. The newbie actress has gained fans and social media followers.
However, her showbiz career was cut short. On Monday, November 17, social media posts surfaced claiming that Gina was beaten up by her boyfriend, and allegedly, she passed away because of this.
Based on the initial investigation, Ivan said that on November 15, he and Gina drank at the latter’s house, and on the next day, they went to the former’s house and slept there.
However, it was said that when Ivan woke up, he tried to wake Gina up, but there was no response. Reportedly, the man called Gina’s father and brought him to the hospital, but she was declared dead on arrival.
Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) of Quezon City Police District (QCPD) stated that, based on initial investigation, the Vivamax actress’s cause of death was cardio-respiratory distress.
Ivan Cezar Ronquillo received a massive amount of bashing online because of the accusation that he physically abused Gina Lima.
On Wednesday, November 19, another tragic news item circulated. Based on the report from ABS-CBN News, La Loma Police Station confirmed that Gina Lima’s ex-boyfriend was found dead inside his house.
He was rushed to the hospital, but the doctors could no longer revive him. Authorities are yet to release further details on this matter.
Ivan Cezar Ronquillo, 24 years old, is from Licab, Nueva Ecija. Based on some online posts, he is the son of the former kagawad of Brgy. Apolonio Samson, Cezar M. Ronquillo. Some posts suggested that he went to Far Eastern University. Ivan was also part of the Bench Body of Work casting call in August 2024. Amid the issue, he deactivated his social media accounts.
