Female Photographer Issues Public Apology for Poor Photo Quality During Event
A female photographer publicly apologized after receiving criticism over the low-quality photos she delivered for an event.
Recently, Tine Dela Peña, a Facebook user, apologized to her client and the public for the allegedly poor output of her shots from the event. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from the online community.
Tine expressed heartfelt regret, saying she made a mistake by taking on work she wasn’t fully prepared for. She explained that, like many others, she dreams of earning through her passion.

Dela Peña tried her best with the equipment she had, but admitted she lacked the proper gear and experience needed for certain projects. She apologized sincerely to her client, whom she described as kind and undeserving of the backlash.
The female photographer shared that personal struggles pushed her to accept the job even though she wasn’t ready. Bills were piling up, her child’s birthday was coming, and she was facing pressure from her rented home.
Because of these challenges, she accepted the project despite not having her own camera and even traveled from Cavite to Fairview just to make it work. Unfortunately, the rented camera she used contributed to the disappointing results.

The woman also revealed that several clients canceled their bookings after the issue spread online. Because of this, she reached out to the community for support, saying she is willing to learn, take assistant roles, and accept beginner-level opportunities to improve her skills. She even asked for recommendations for reliable rental equipment.
Tine said her client paid P2,500, and she appreciated the amount, knowing she earned at least enough to bring some money home. She hopes people understand that she did not intend to disappoint anyone and is still hoping for clients who would give her another chance.
She ended her message with hope, believing that sometimes difficult moments can lead to something better. Despite the setback, she remains committed to becoming more skilled, more prepared, and more confident in her photography journey.
