Pokwang opened up about her demand for her talent fee
Kapuso comedienne Pokwang admitted that she already left GMA’s morning variety show TiktoClock because she did not get the talent fee increase she demanded.
Pokie started her career in the entertainment industry at ABS-CBN. She did several shows in the Kapamilya network that boosted her career as a comedienne.
In 2021, amid the pandemic and the ABS-CBN shutdown issue, Pokie decided to transfer to GMA Network. After signing a contract, she appeared in various Kapuso shows.

Eventually, she was given a chance to be the main host of Tiktoclock with veteran TV host Kuya Kim Atienza and beauty queen Rabiya Mateo. The show first aired in July 2022.
Just recently, a blind item circulated about a female TV host who will be replaced by a drama actress. Based on the article in Balita, Pokwang said that the clues given were obviously referring to her. With this, she said that she was the subject of the blind item.
“Given na given na naman ‘yong mga clue. Ako talaga ‘yon. Totoo, totoo ‘yong nasa blind item,” the comedienne said. She explained that they would renew their show contract every three months. For the months of October to December, Pokie said that she did not renew anymore. However, she stressed that she was not removed from the show.

Then, she admitted that she asked for a talent fee increase and it was not provided to her. “Totoo naman ‘yon. Nanghihingi tayo ng kaunting karagdagan. Siyempre, alam mo naman, tumataas na rin ang mga bilihin. And dinadagdagan ko naman din ang mga sweldo ng mga nagtatrabaho sa akin,” she revealed.
On the other hand, Pokwang stressed that she is thankful to be part of the show for almost four years.
Meanwhile, in a recent statement, Pokie expressed her tearful message amid the corruption issue in the Philippines.
