Min Bernardo slammed an FB page that posted about Kathryn Bernardo
Celebrity mom, Mommy Min Bernardo, the mother of Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo, cried foul over fake posts.
Mommy Min has been very supportive of her daughter’s showbiz career. From the time when Kathryn was just a child star, her mother would always be very visible.
Throughout the years, Mommy Min was also there when Kathryn would face controversies and issues. Their family has a tight bond, and it can be seen with the glimpses that Mommy Min and Kathryn would share on social media once in a while.
Just recently, Kathryn Bernardo became the subject of a fake post. A Facebook page claimed that she had a statement about extending help to others and that this should not be broadcast on social media.
Star Magic, the talent management company of ABS-CBN, and the one handling Kathryn’s career, released a clarification debunking the fake statement. It stressed that the actress never made that statement.
Mommy Min Bernardo also shared a post on her Facebook page condemning the fake post. “Please stop using my daughter’s name or image on your platform, especially if the stories you share are not true/ splice,” the celebrity mom said.
She also stressed that even a single word added or diminished from the statement would alter the meaning, and this would become “fake news.” “Don’t twist the story, para lang dumami ang viewers nyo,” she said, adding that this is unfair.
Mommy Min Bernardo also said that for the longest time, they have been enduring in silence because of the twisted stories, but this did not mean that they agree with what was being said against them.
“Remember, as a mother, there’s a LIMIT to how much pain and silence one can bear,” Kathryn’s mom said.
