ABS-CBN actress Angel Locsin shares a post online gushing about Joaquin Arce, who is currently a PBB housemate.
One of the housemates of the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” is Joaquin Arce, a new actor. He is the son of Neil Arce, which makes him the stepson of actress Angel Locsin.
The actress, who has been missing in action for years now, has been vocal about her support for her stepson through her social media posts. She is supportive of Joaquin pursuing a career in the show business industry.
In a previous article, Angel even expressed she’s excited to work with him in the future.
Recently, as the reality show continues, and while Joaquin is still among the housemates, Angel has been in relentless support, and in a post, she expressed how proud she is of her son.
“I don’t usually comment, but seeing Joaquin grow from a little boy into someone who helps, listens, and keeps the peace at home makes me proud,” Angel wrote. She added that Joaquin is “completely deaf” in his right ear, which explains why he may not instantly reply and sometimes talk louder than usual.
“If he ever talks a bit loud or doesn’t respond, please forgive him — our son is completely deaf in his right ear,” she continued.
Joaquin is among the Star Magic housemates in the new season of PBB. He is “Ang Rising Dreamer ng Muntinlupa” inside Bahay ni Kuya. His parents, Neil and Angel, are both seasoned in the entertainment industry.
In an interview, he revealed that he actually has a tight bond with his Tita Angel, and she even helped him prepare for one of his auditions. It was his father, on the other hand, who encouraged him to pursue acting after seeing how passionate and full of potential he was during one of his early workshops with Cornerstone Entertainment Inc.
