Kapamilya heartthrob Piolo Pascual finally met his viral look-alike, Eman Bacosa Pacquiao, the son of boxing legend Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. Fans have long pointed out the striking resemblance between the award-winning actor and the young boxer, and their recent meeting proved just how uncanny their similarities are.
The long-awaited encounter between Piolo and Eman was featured on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho on November 9. During the episode, the two shared a lighthearted conversation about their careers, with Piolo expressing his admiration for the young athlete.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Piolo Pascual graciously acknowledged the comparisons, saying, “I think it’s a compliment, you know, to be compared to him.” He revealed that his social media has been filled with posts and links about Eman ever since people began noticing their resemblance.
“He visited me yesterday. We had an interview together. Yeah, actually, my feed is full of Eman Pacquiao, puro links,” the actor shared with a laugh.
Piolo also had nothing but kind words for Eman, praising the way he was brought up. “Finally, I got to meet the boy yesterday and I would say he was raised well, very humble, very God-fearing and I think he’ll go places, he will really go places,” he said.
The Ultimate Leading Man also described the young Pacquiao as polite and down-to-earth. “He’s a good kid. I’m happy there’s someone like him in that field, which is boxing.”
Before parting ways, Piolo offered Eman some heartfelt advice, encouraging him to stay focused on his goals and education. “I told him to really reach for his dreams. He’s going to college after his last year in high school, so there’s a lot of hopes and dreams. But yeah, I’m just happy that he’s a very God-fearing kid,” the actor concluded.
With Piolo’s blessing and the public’s growing fascination, Eman Pacquiao is now gaining attention not only as a promising boxer but also as the charming “Piolo Pacquiao” look-alike.
