Slater Young received another round of bashing
Slater Young Issue – A netizen shared a video showing what happened when the water was reportedly released from the dam of Slater’s Monterrazas project.
Amid the devastating scenarios in Cebu province after Typhoon Tino hit the Philippines, people could not help but blame Slater, his company, and his ambitious project.
According to reports, the areas surrounding his project were reportedly affected by flooding. As a result, Slater received a massive amount of criticism on social media.
Amid the issue, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate refused to release a statement; instead, he and his wife, social media influencer Kryz Uy, restricted the comment option on their social media pages.
A netizen ignited another round of bashing against Slater Young through a video. Under r/ChikaPH on Reddit, netizen @TheGreatCommenter shared a video with the post title: “Monterazzas issue: POV from the dam.”
“For those who are still on the fence on the Monterazzas issue. Here is the point of view from the people near the dam itself. One source tells us that the dam was opened but apparently as per kuya, it got destroyed,” the caption of the post stated.
In the almost 2-minute video, it can be seen that the water was rushing down the hill. As the man was showing different areas, he showed that it was already flooding downhill.
In the comment section of the post, Slater Young received bashing once again. Here are some of the negative comments thrown at him.
Meanwhile, actor Albie Casino called Slater Young out in his Instagram Story. The actor tagged the ex-PBB housemate and stressed that people were right about what they were commenting on weeks ago regarding his so-called Monterrazas project. Because of Albie’s bravery in mentioning Slater, netizens showed admiration for the actor.
