Sparkle artist Aira Lopez recently marked a personal milestone by participating in the TCS New York City Marathon 2025, held last Sunday, November 2. Sharing her excitement on social media, Aira described the experience as, “One of the best days of my life! #NewYorkMarathon.”
For the artist, this achievement was more than just running a race—it was a challenge she set for herself. Known for not being particularly fond of long-distance running, Aira admitted, “To be honest, I never really liked long distance running — that’s why in triathlon, I only get excited about the bike part! Hehe. But this year, I challenged myself to do a marathon, and fortunately, my @newbalance family gave us a slot for NYCM! What a dream come true.”
Her journey to the marathon was fueled by determination and the support of her loved ones. She took a moment to express gratitude to those who encouraged her along the way, saying, “Big thanks to everyone who cheered, especially the Pinoys, and my own crew who flew all the way here to support — love you guys! After experiencing my first marathon here, it’s official — I’m chasing the other majors next! Hehe”
