Another Round of Big-Time Oil Price Hikes Set for Tuesday (November 4, 2025)

FUEL PRICE UPDATE – Another round of big-time oil hikes is set to take effect this week, after a few weeks of increases.

Starting Tuesday, November 4, 2025, motorists are once again facing heavier costs at the pump as oil companies announce another round of fuel price increases.

It marks the fifth consecutive week of rising gasoline prices and the second straight week of hikes for diesel and kerosene.

Big-Time Oil Price Hikes

Starting at 6 a.m., major players such as Shell Pilipinas, Caltex, Seaoil, and PetroGazz will increase prices by P1.70 per liter for gasoline, P2.70 for diesel, and P2.10 for kerosene. Cleanfuel will apply the same adjustments later in the day at 4 p.m.

The latest price jump comes after new sanctions were imposed by the United States and the United Kingdom on Russian oil companies and refineries.

According to the Department of Energy, recent adjustments have already driven fuel costs to record levels this year.

Big-Time Oil Price Hikes

As of late October, total net increases stand at P18.20 per liter for gasoline, P21.85 for diesel, and P8.65 for kerosene. Current pump prices range from P55 to P65 per liter for gasoline, P54 to P57 for diesel, and around P79 for kerosene.

Experts say this is one of the biggest price jumps since June, mainly due to the tighter supply in the global market. Despite efforts to boost oil production, prices continue to climb as political and economic tensions persist.

With fuel now costing nearly P20 more per liter than last year, drivers and commuters alike are feeling the strain. Many are hoping for relief soon, but for now, the best move may be to gas up early before the latest hike takes effect.
