Chavit Singson has another tirade against PBBM
Businessman-politician Chavit Singson said that President Bongbong Marcos should be the one feeling ashamed amid the flood control issue.
Singson has been in the political arena for many years already. He has forged political affiliations with various individuals and groups over the years. Currently, the wealthy businessman, who has been linked to several celebrities, is not holding any government position.
However, he is still active in the political arena, and it is because of his statements about political issues, especially about the anomalous flood control projects.
During the September 21 rally, Chavit Singson also walked among the rallyists who protested against the corruption. However, she received a loud “boo” from other protesters.
In that rally, Singson urged the public to think that the President should be removed from his position. The Palace did not take his statement lightly. Because of this, he was investigated for inciting sedition.
Just recently, Singson once again called on Marcos to resign. The businessman-politician said that the President should be blamed for what is happening in the country.
Based on the report from Abante News, Chavit Singson recalled what President Bongbong Marcos said during his State of the Nation Address in July this year. To recall, the Chief Executive of the Philippines said that corrupt politicians should be ashamed of what they were doing. “Mahiya naman kayo!” he said.
In Singson’s recent statement, he said that it should be PBBM who should have that feeling of shame.
“Nagulat ako nu’ng sinabi niya sa SONA – ‘Mahiya naman kayo!’ Bakit ‘kayo’? Sinadya niyang nilaglag ang mga kasamahan niya. Dapat siya ang mahiya,” the businessman-politician said.
Singson added that the President was the one who had the responsibility over the country. He also said that PBBM is the one who has the power and he is being trusted by the Filipino people.
