The movie of Ivana Alawi for the MMFF 2025 is allegedly not yet finished
Rumor has it that Kapamilya actress Ivana Alawi was the cause of the delay of her Metro Manila Film Festival 2025 movie shoot.
MMFF has been an annual tradition in the film industry in the Philippines. This is being held every December. Usually, 10 movies are included on the list of the official entries.
One of the official entries this year is Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Evil Origins, featuring Ivana and Kapamilya actor Richard Gutierrez. It is their first project together.
Previously, Richard shared in an interview that he was “super excited” to work with the Kapamilya actress. However, it appeared that Ivana Alawi did not feel that same excitement because, allegedly, she is causing delays in shooting.
Netizen @Great-Ninja3255 shared on Reddit under r/ChikaPH that the production of Shake, Rattle & Roll for this year’s MMFF has been a mess lately.
It was said that the staff, co-actors, and even the director are getting frustrated with Ivana because, allegedly, she’s always the reason for the delays. “They’ve been shooting for months already pero hindi pa rin daw tapos,” the netizen said.
It was also alleged that the worst thing was that Ivana seemed to be nonchalant about the delays she was causing, and that she was not afraid that she would get in trouble.
“Rumor has it the producer of the movie is actually her alleged billionaire boyfriend, which might explain why no one’s calling her out directly,” the netizen claimed.
The MMFF 2025 is just less than two months away, but allegedly, Ivana’s movie shoot is not yet wrapping up.
Meanwhile, Ivana Alawi was previously linked to wealthy businessman-politician Albee Benitez. She was mentioned by Benitez’s estranged wife in her VAWC complaint. The actress, as well as the congressman, denied their rumored affair.
Ivana was also linked to actor-turned-politician Dan Fernandez, as their supposed matching photos circulated online.
