Sunshine Cruz is ready to take action against fake news peddlers
Actress Sunshine Cruz expressed fury against the people behind several online sites that are spreading vulgar and malicious news against her.
Sunshine has been in the industry for many years already, and she has already had a fair share of issues and controversies. However, with social media, controversies are intensified, and at times, false information is being circulated online.
The actress has also been unable to stop several vlogs and showbiz websites from continuing to spread fake news about her and her three daughters.
Previously, a controversial accusation against Sunshine Cruz and her personal life surfaced on social media. Allegedly, she and businessman Atong Ang broke up, and the alleged reason was physical abuse. It was also alleged that Atong had done wrong to her daughters.
The actress has already clarified this issue and stressed that there was no truth to the allegation. Based on the article in Bandera, Sunshine would take legal action against the fake news peddlers.
According to Sunshine, she has already spoken to her lawyer to find out who is creating and spreading libelous and fake news, including the alleged assault of her boyfriend, Atong Ang.
On her Facebook page, the actress reposted several screenshots of fake news from an online site, including one that said one of her children was pregnant and the father was Atong Ang.
In the comment section of her post, Sunshine Cruz wrote, “It’s a testament to how easily people are misled that even the smartest individuals sometimes fall for them. No to #fakenews!”
With this, the actress confirmed that her lawyer is already studying what they will do with the people behind such fake news.
