Two housemates were introduced for the PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
Joaquin Arce and Sofia Pablo are the first two official housemates introduced for the second edition of PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
The first-ever edition of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Collab” was successful. This was the first edition that featured famous personalities from GMA and ABS-CBN, where Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo were declared the big winners.
The winners are:
- 4th Big Place: AZ Martinez and River Joseph
- 3rd Big Placer: Charlie Fleming and Esnyr Ranollo
- 2nd Big Placer: AZ Martinez and River Joseph
- Big Winners: Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo
Previously, a new edition of this was announced, and the first two official housemates have just been introduced. Joaquin Arce and Sofia Pablo are the first two celebrity housemates introduced, from ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and GMA’s Sparkle, respectively.
This was revealed in “24 Oras” on GMA-7.
Joaquin Arce is the son of businessman Neil Arce and the stepson of Angel Locsin. He admitted that he was a fan of the previous edition, which made him decide to join the brand new edition.
“I watched last season. I’m a huge fan of ‘PBB’ as a show, so I decided, why not give it a try,” he said.
Pablo, one of the rising stars of the Kapuso network, expressed that this opportunity is something she considers big, as she has always been a victim of misconceptions and fake news.
As they prepare to live as housemates, Arce said that one of the things he will miss from the outside world is his friends. He also realized that before going inside the PBB house, he needs to hang out as much as he wants with his father and mother.
For Pablo, she never spent a single Christmas or New Year away from her mother. However, this is one big opportunity that would be worth it if, in exchange, she can show the people who she truly is.
“If I’m not there, she’s going to be alone. But then again iniisip namin one Christmas, one New Year kapalit ng pwedeng ma-appreciate na ng tao for who we really are. So sugal talaga,” Pablo said.
