Authorities Arrest Senior Citizen Principal Over Estafa and Falsification Charges
A 70-year-old school principal n Caloocan City was arrested by the authorities for estafa and falsification case.
An elderly woman serving as a school principal was arrested by operatives of the Northern Police District – District Special Operations Unit (DSOU) in Caloocan City for her alleged involvement in a case of estafa through falsification of commercial documents, in violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
According to the police report, the operation took place in Purok La Loma, Area D, Barangay 178, Caloocan City. The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant issued by the Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 167 in Pasig City on October 16, 2025.

The warrant recommended bail of P96,000 for each count of the case filed against her.
Authorities said the arresting officers carefully explained to the suspect the reason for her arrest and her legal rights in a language she fully understood. The principal, however, chose to remain silent during the investigation.
Following her arrest, she was brought to the Caloocan City Medical Center for the standard medical examination before being turned over to the DSOU office for further investigation and documentation.
As of this writing the suspect is detained at the Northern Police District Custodial Facility while waiting for the return of the warrant and further court proceedings.
The police continue to gather details related to the case, which involves alleged falsification of commercial records connected to online transactions.
