Pokwang has strongly refuted the authenticity of a viral Facebook video that falsely depicts her endorsing an online gambling platform. The actress immediately took to social media to address the matter, clarifying that the circulating footage is fake and manipulated using AI technology.

The misleading video, which appears to have been generated through artificial intelligence, shows a clip of Pokwang seemingly promoting a gambling application. Displayed below the edited footage is a fabricated quote falsely attributed to her:

Pokwang immediately called out the video, stressing that the entire clip was fabricated and not real. “Hindi po totoo,” she asserted, expressing her dismay and disappointment at how her image was used without permission to deceive the public.

The situation highlights the growing threat of deepfakes and AI-generated media, which are being increasingly used to spread false information and exploit the likenesses of celebrities and public figures. Experts continue to warn that such digital manipulation undermines online safety and public trust.
