Boying Remulla had this statement about the Discaya couple
Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Boying Remulla said that he thinks contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya are protecting Senator Bong Go.
The Discaya couple has been one of the main characters in the current probe on anomalous flood control projects. They own the St. Gerrard Construction that has been accused of being one of the construction companies allegedly involved in corruption in the flood control projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways.
Based on the report from Inquirer, Sarah Discaya confirmed that they had a joint venture deal with CLTG Builders, the company owned by the father of Sen. Bong Go.

In an interview on Thursday, DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon revealed that an investigation is being done regarding the possible connection between CLTG Builders and the Discayas.
Vinzon stressed that it is the mandate of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) that no one will be spared during the investigation.

“We are looking at connections between Discayas and CLTG Corporation. That’s what we discussed with the Ombudsman last night,” the Public Works and Highways Secretary said.
In a report from Abante News, Ombudsman Boying Remulla said that the Discaya couple might be protecting Senator Bong Go. This came after the Discayas said that they would no longer cooperate with the ICI.

“I think they’ve been protecting Bong Go. The joint venture that they had with the CLTG, with the family of Bong. That’s one of the people that they’ve been protecting. To be blunt about it,” Ombudsman Boying Remulla said.
Based on reports, Sen. Bong Go denied the allegations that he was involved in the joint venture between CLTG Builders and the Discayas.
Go is one of the known allies of former President Rodrigo Duterte and current Vice President Sara Duterte.
