Delivery Worker Walking Long Distances to Deliver OrdersĀ Touches Many Hearts
A delivery worker touches many hearts on social media for walking long distances just to deliver customer orders.
Recently, a Facebook user named Jenny De Lara shared photos of the delivery worker, who was reportedly walking to deliver customer orders. The post quickly went viral and received many reactions from the online community.
While some might have easily canceled the order, Jenny patiently waited. When the delivery finally arrived, she found out the reason,Ā the delivery worker, identified asĀ KuyaĀ Carlo, was walking to deliver her order.

Jenny said that even before arriving, Kuya Carlo had been sending polite messages asking her not to cancel. When he got there, he apologized repeatedly for being late. She later checked the app and saw the status labeled āWalking,ā realizing he didnāt have a motorcycle or even a bicycle.
Out of kindness, she allowed him to wash his hands in their garden. But what moved her even more was when she saw him drinking from the water hose. When she stopped him and offered bottled water instead, he simply said he didnāt want to bother anyone and was used to it.
āSorry, Maāam. Ok lang naman po,Ā sanayĀ naman poĀ ako. Ayaw koĀ rinĀ poĀ kasingĀ makaistorboĀ ā delayedĀ naĀ rinĀ po kasiĀ yungĀ deliveryĀ hehe,ā the rider said.Ā

KuyaĀ Carlo shared that he prefers walking because heĀ doesnātĀ want to get into debt.Ā HeāsĀ saving up little by little to buy his own bike one day. Despite the hardships, he continues to work with a positive attitude, never complaining, and always showing respect.

āOk lang po maglakad. Ako pa nga po yung nahihiya kasi nadedelay ako madalas. Natatakot po kasi akong umutang, baka hindi ko agad mabayaran, kaya nag-iipon na lang po ako para sa bike. Sige po, Maāam, una na po ako ā may pumasok na pong order. Maraming salamat po ulit sa tubig,ā he added.
