Oil Firms Announce Mixed Fuel Price Changes for October 14, 2025 (Tuesday)

Mixed Fuel Price Changes Expected This Week, Oil Firms Say

OIL PRICE UPDATE – Various oil companies in the country are set to implement mixed fuel price changes this week.

Starting Tuesday, October 14, 2025, Filipino motorists can expect another round of price adjustments this week as oil companies announce mixed adjustments in fuel prices.

According to advisories, Shell Pilipinas and Seaoil will raise the price of gasoline by P0.30 per liter while cutting kerosene by P0.20 per liter. Diesel prices will remain the same. Petro Gazz will apply the same increase for gasoline with no movement for diesel.

Cleanfuel will also follow these adjustments but will implement them later in the afternoon at 4:01 p.m., while others will take effect at 6 a.m. These latest adjustments come after seven straight weeks of price hikes for both diesel and kerosene.

The Department of Energy (DOE) explained that the increase in gasoline is due to rising production and operating costs, while the drop in kerosene is caused by oversupply in the global market after Iraq resumed oil exports from its Kurdish region.

International developments continue to affect local fuel prices. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) recently announced it will increase oil production by 137,000 barrels per day starting November.

Meanwhile, the United States has boosted its oil inventories amid fears of a government shutdown. The DOE also mentioned that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas helped stabilize supply concerns, leading to lower kerosene prices.

As of September 30, 2025, total price adjustments for the year show an increase of P14.70 per liter for gasoline, P17.05 for diesel, and P5.45 for kerosene.

Some fuel firms have yet to make announcements. The public can expect continued changes in pump prices as global oil markets remain unstable due to both political events and production changes worldwide.
