Robin Padilla shared an appreciation post for his wife
Senator Robin Padilla thanked his wife, celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla, for spending time with his mom Eva Carino, who is now suffering from dementia.
In a statement last month, Robin shared that his mom has advanced dementia. The former actress has raised sons who also ventured into showbiz. She had been very supportive of her kids’ careers and endeavors.
In a recent post on Facebook, the lawmaker shared photos of her having her bonding moment with the Padilla matriarch.
In the caption of his post, Sen. Robin Padilla said that as his mom is suffering from dementia, she would not recognize the time or who the people she was talking to.
With this situation, the lawmaker is thankful to his wife, Robin appreciated the time that Mariel spent for Mommy Eva. “Tanging ang mga INA lamang ang nagkakaintindihan. Maraming salamat aking asawa sa inilalaan na panahon sa aking mahal na Ina,” he said.
Many netizens who commented on this post offered prayers for the Senator’s mom. “Mag ingat palagi Ma’am Eva, at huwag maka limot mag, DASAL, Thank you Ma’am Mariel, sa pag DALAW sa iyong BIYANAN,” a netizen commented.
Following this post, Sen. Robin Padilla shared a video showing that Mariel Padilla was having a live selling. After taking a break from her hosting stints on TV, Mariel ventured into vlogging and online selling.
The Senator called his wife, “Ang Tindera ng Bayan.” He commended Mariel for being so hardworking even on a Sunday. “Ang tindera ng bayan! Napakasipag ng asawa ko kahit araw ng linggo kumakayod. Bili na po kayo sa kanyang live selling,” the actor-turned politician said.
Meanwhile, Robin received praise from former Commission on Elections commissioner Atty. Rowena Guanzon in a post that she shared in September. She posted a selfie with the actor-turned-politician.
