Then, rumors surfaced that they had been spotted at BGC, and some netizens claimed that they had private dates. They were also allegedly spotted at the airport going to Australia last July. It was also rumored that they had “secret trips” abroad.
Amid Mark Alcala and Kathryn Bernardo’s rumored relationship, negative comments were expressed online. Some fans of the actress were questioning her decision to be with the politician, while some directly bashed the Lucena City Mayor, especially about his political career.
However, a resident of Lucena shared an open letter for Kathryn, saying that if the rumored relationship was true, they would be happy to welcome the actress in their city. The Lucena resident even expressed positive words for the Mayor.
