Carmina Villarroel was asked about the girlfriend of her son, Mavy Legaspi
Seasoned actress Carmina Villarroel shared her thoughts on actress Ashley Ortega, the girlfriend of her son, actor Mavy Legaspi.
It is known to many showbiz fans that Mavy’s love life went through some issues. When his breakup with actress Kyline Alcantara circulated, Carmina was dragged into this.
The seasoned actress was accused of interfering in her son’s love life. Some netizens even called her “pakialamera.” However, in an interview last year, Carmina said that she is open to working with Kyline in the future. This goes to show that she had no issue with her son’s ex-girlfriend.
Mavy Legaspi is currently in a relationship with Ashley Ortega. Their love story started to bloom early this year. In past interviews, Ashley expressed positive words about Mavy’s parents. The Sparkle artist also had social media interactions with Carmina Villarroel.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, Carmina shared that she is happy because their family has been receiving a lot of blessings despite there still being negative comments on her way of being a mother to her twins with her husband Zoren Legaspi.
The seasoned actress said that she knows that she can’t please everybody, and she will just let the people think what they want to think.
Then, she shared that she has no problem with Ashley Ortega. They were able to work together in the past through the series Widow’s Web. Zoren also had a project with Ashley in the past.
When Mavy introduced Ashley to them as his girlfriend, Carmina said that it went well because they already knew the actress.
“Si Ashley, she’s very respectful and she’s such a sweet lady talaga. Well, wala naman akong say sa mga love life nila,” the seasoned actress shared.
Carmina Villarroel was also asked about actor Michael Sager, who was rumored to be her daughter Cassy’s boyfriend before he entered the Pinoy Big Brother house.
Inside the PBB house, Michael denied the rumored relationship. Carmina was asked if she was offended by that.
The seasoned actress answered, “Hindi kasi talaga ko nakikialam sa personal nilang buhay, sa love life. But si Michael, when it comes to us–kami ni Zoren, he’s nice to us. ‘Yung sa kanila ni Cassy, puwede, si Cassy na lang ang tanungin n’yo?”
