Here’s a health update about Ate Gay, who has cancer.
Comedian and impersonator Ate Gay has been struggling with cancer and recently, she shared this great news about her condition.
In an interview with Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS), famous comedian Ate Gay revealed that she has stage 4 cancer. She was even told that she has a few months left to live, which has brought her great devastation, as she wanted to live more and longer.
Gil Aducal Morales, aka Ate Gay, posted a new health update and shared that after a series of sessions, the lump on her neck has visibly shrunk. She was also visibly happier and brighter because of this improvement in her condition. The comedian became more hopeful when the treatment began.
She is still going through her cancer treatment, and after six days of radiation therapy, the lump was almost gone. To recall, Morales made headlines last September when he revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. A few days later, it was disclosed that he was suffering from mucoepidermoid squamous cell carcinoma — a rare form of cancer that develops from mucous-secreting cells.
“Hello, wala na akong bukol. Konting-konti na lang oh,” Ate Gay said in the video, and added, “Thank you Lord. I love you po. Thank you.”
To recall, in 2021, Ate Gay overcame pneumonia and said he is on his “second life.”
Meanwhile, mucoepidermoid squamous cell carcinoma is a distinct type of tumor. They are composed of three types of cellular elements in varying proportions: squamous cells, mucus-secreting cells, and intermediate cells. After his condition erupted online, an “angel” was sent to him, and he was given free chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Ate Gay shared, “Magandang Balita po magpapachemo at radiation na po ako sa Asian Hospital ng Libre sa tulong ng isang Anghel …nagpapasalamat po ako sa inyong mga mensahe.. di ko man mareplyan Taos puso akong nagpapasalamat sa sobrang dami.. patuloy lang po Ang panalangin.”
