The name of Quezon City first district Congressman Arjo Atayde was seen on this water container, which received criticism from netizens.
Years after becoming an actor, the son of veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez decided to enter the political arena in 2022. He won for his first political venture. Sylvia and other members of the Atayde family were very supportive.
Arjo won in the 2025 midterm elections for his second term. However, his name has been dragged into the anomalous flood control projects. Contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya mentioned that Arjo was one of the politicians who allegedly received kickbacks from flood control projects. After this, their luxurious properties were questioned.

In a recent post on Reddit by @RedditorofReddit07 under r/ChikaPH, it showed that a small water container had the actor-politician’s name with his tagline, “Aksyon Agad.”
In the comment section of the post, netizens expressed negative reactions to Arjo. Accusations of being a “trapo” or “traditional politician” were directed at Arjo.
