Doors of opportunities for Mika Salamanca
Actress-singer Mika Salamanca had this advice for the upcoming housemates of reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
Mika’s popularity skyrocketed even more after winning the PBB Celebrity Collab Edition. Many fans of the show supported her even after her stint inside the PBB house.
The reality show is set to have a new season and would welcome new housemates. During the recent interview for her new perfume endorsement, the actress-singer was asked about the upcoming season.
She was asked about the advice she could give to upcoming housemates, based on the article in GMA Entertainment. Mika Salamanca said that the reality is that housemates are really living inside the PBB house.
“Ang masasabi ko, mabuhay talaga kayo sa loob ng bahay ni kuya. Kasi ‘yung experience diyan, ‘yung kung ilang months man kayo diyan, kung ilang months man kayo magtatagal diyan, mabilis lang ‘yan sa paglabas n’yo.” she said.
She also stressed the importance of enjoying while spending time inside the PBB house because this is just a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be shielded away from the negativities of the outside world.
Mika said that upcoming housemates should not mind the problem outside the PBB house, and what they should think about are the problems inside.
“Walang maliit, walang malaki. ‘Wag n’yo isipin na parang ‘Shocks, bakit ko iiyakan ‘yung ganitong bagay sa loob? Ba’t parang dito sa loob ng bahay, ang liit-liit ko kumpara sa labas?’ ‘Wag n’yo isipin ‘yun. Kasi ‘yung problema nýo diyan sa loob, ‘yun ‘yung malaki diyan, ‘yun ‘yung isipin n’yo, ‘wag ‘yung sa labas. Live inside the house,” the singer-actress shared.
Mika also shared that she really enjoyed her time inside the PBB house, but she said that she would not return as a housemate. She acknowledged the big changes that the show brought to her life.
“Alam n’yo po, ang PBB, sobrang laki ng nagawa niya para sa buhay ko. Mahal na mahal ko si Kuya, mahal na mahal ko ‘yung bahay, pero hindi po,” Mika Salamanca said.
The actress-singer added that aside from the challenges that housemates faced inside the house, their strength was also being tested. Among the challenges that they should face were the lack of cellphones, not enough food supplies, and not knowing the hours of their sleep.
