A female passenger shared her eye-opening experience after encountering a demanding commuter while riding a modern jeepney in Bacolod City.
Recently, Facebook user Maricel Pletcha Ramos Retome shared her encounter with a demanding commuter on modern jeepney. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to Maricel, she was riding a modern jeepney bound for Punta Taytay when the incident happened. The vehicle was almost full when another woman approached and began asking questions even before getting inside.
The demanding commuter wanted to make sure the jeepney would pass by her destination and worried aloud about being late for her appointment. The driver and conductor assured her that the jeepney would pass the route she mentioned.
However, the woman began asking if the vehicle would still make stops to pick up passengers, expressing concern that constant stops might delay her. It led to a light exchange between the driver, conductor, and passengers, who found the situation both funny and awkward.
At one point, the driver jokingly asked if he should skip dropping off passengers just so she wouldn’t be late. This made the other commuters quietly laugh. Realizing the awkwardness, the woman eventually became silent and stayed calm for the rest of the ride.
Ramos said the incident served as a small lesson about patience and understanding when commuting. Everyone is in a hurry, but being considerate and respectful toward drivers and fellow passengers can make the ride smoother for all.

Condoctor: puno naman ni ma’am, mapundo pa? Kag isa pa, terminal to terminal lang kami ma’am, Indi man kami striker.
Sya: ah ti sigi ah (masaka na sya sang gin interrupt sya sang driver)
Driver: galing basi ma late ka ma’am?
Condoctor: damo di daan manaog hu, bangga per bangga.
Sya: ah sigi lang nung, Wala man ko choice.
Condoctor: pwede ka gid bala ka taxi ma’am, para rekta2 ka asta sa appointment mo.
Sya: ah sigi lang nung ah.
Driver: pasakaa na kay ma lakat na ta .
So amo to nag saka na sya. (Kag samtang naga lakat ang oras, ang modern jeep naga pundo man per bangga, pero chill lang sya, Kay na huya na sya guro)
