4Ps Beneficiary Shares Frustration Over Reduced Cash Aid
A 4Ps beneficiary has expressed disappointment online after noticing a huge cut in the cash aid she received since January 2025.
Recently, Jennifer BresNie Grafil, a Facebook user shared a photo of her payout receipt after she noticed a huge deduction in the financial aid she has been receiving. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to her, the assistance she received used to be enough to cover the needs of her children who are in Grade 12 and kindergarten. By her calculation, she should be receiving around P6,000 per payout for her children’s schooling.

“Dear mayor kit nieto isa po akong benifeciary ng 4ps mula January, P2,500 na lang po ang pay out para sa dalawang grade 12 student,” she wrote.
However, she claimed that her recent payout amounted to only P2,900, which she said was far less than expected.
Grafil added that in November 2024, they were informed of a deduction of P1,500, which was explained as an adjustment due to excess payouts. At that time, she thought the cut would only apply once. But since the start of 2025, her payouts have reportedly been consistently lower, leaving her confused and worried.

Many 4Ps beneficiaries rely heavily on the program to provide for their children’s education and daily needs. Jennifer addressed her post to Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto, asking for clarification on why their cash aid has been reduced and why the deductions appear to have continued throughout the year.
For them, even small cuts in financial aid make a big difference in putting food on the table and keeping children in school. Beneficiaries are now hoping for answers and clearer communication regarding the adjustments in their payouts.
