Janella Salvador Shares What She’s Looking for in a Partner
JANELLA SALVADOR – Amid swirling rumors linking her to fellow actress Klea Pineda, Janella Salvador set the record straight about her love life.
Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador recently opened up about her personal life, offering fans a glimpse of her current outlook on love. She shared that she is genuinely happy, though she opted not to confirm whether there is someone special contributing to her joy.
During her sit-down interview with Boy Abunda, the Open Endings star expressed how content she feels at this point in her life. “Masaya ang puso ko ngayon. Genuinely, I’m happy right now–– all aspects of my life, I’m doing okay. Happy ako,” she said.
Although she refrained from confirming any romance, Janella discussed the qualities she values in a potential partner. As a devoted mother to her son, Jude, she highlighted the importance of finding someone who offers security and consistency. “I think now, I’m really looking for stability. Especially now that I don’t have only myself to think of but also my son. So if I enter any relationship, non-negotiable yun–– kailangan sigurado ako, kailangan stable na siya, kailangan maayos,” she explained.
Addressing the speculations surrounding her and fellow actress Klea Pineda, Janella clarified that she was not involved in Klea’s separation from her former partner, Katrice Kierulf. According to her, the rumors likely surfaced after they collaborated on Open Endings. “Paano nga ba nag simula? I guess cause mag katrabaho kami sa Open Endings kaya nag ka rumors ng ganun. They broke up right after the film so I guess that’s where all the rumors started. They saw that we were hanging out after the film–– we’ve been hanging out,” she clarified.
When Tito Boy asked if she was open to being in a same-gender relationship, Janella kept her response vague but admitted she follows her heart when it comes to love. “Would I? I guess that answer would have to stay with me muna. But, I love who I love,” she remarked.
Aside from personal matters, Janella is set for a busy season ahead. She will headline the Cinemalaya film Open Endings, which premieres on October 3, and join the cast of the suspense series What Lies Beneath alongside Kaila Estrada, Sue Ramirez, and Charlie Dizon.
